Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American advisor to the political process, was the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021 to 2022. She is a part of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009) and the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011), the spokesperson for the US Department of State (2013-15) and the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was a contributor to CNN's political coverage from 2017 until 2020. Psaki started her career in the 2001 re-election campaign in Iowa of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack who were both Democrats for the U.S. Senate. Psaki became John Kerry's deputy press secretary in 2004. Psaki was the director of communications for Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and as the regional press secretary for Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was the press secretary for the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. In the year 2000, Psaki was named the spokesperson of the United States Department of State. There was speculation Psaki would succeed Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary at the Department of State.[21However, Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 the 30th of May, 2014. She was named Communications Director in the White House and continued to perform this role until the end of the year in 2015.
